The ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV with HumidAir and ClimateLineAir is a bi-level positive air pressure (PAP) machine. This device is engineered to automatically adjust pressure levels based on your breathing patterns, which allows you to inhale and exhale comfortably throughout the night. ResMed’s ASV algorithm maps your precise ventilation and respiratory rate in order to ensure fully customized therapy tailored to your needs.

What is automatic positive air pressure?

Automatic positive air pressure (APAP) is an alternative to traditional CPAP therapy. Machines equipped for APAP automatically adjust pressure levels based on the user’s breathing patterns, which may shift during the night with different stages of their sleep cycle. The AirCurve 11’s ASV algorithm pinpoints specific ventilation and respiratory rates for extra customization.

How does ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing work?

ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tubing connects the AirCurve 11 ASV to your face mask. Sensors embedded in the hose’s interior wall monitor the temperature and humidity level in your bedroom, allowing the tube to automatically adjust these settings to reduce the potential for congestion and help you sleep comfortably.

What is myAir?

The myAir virtual assistant guides you through the process of setting up your AirCurve 11 ASV. Once the device has been successfully installed, you can access myAir for troubleshooting tips, sleep coaching programs, and viewable sleep data.

How loud is the ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV?

At its loudest, the ResMed AirSense 11 produces 27 decibels (dBA) of noise. This maximum volume is considered “whisper quiet” and comparable to that of other competing PAP machines on the market today. 

Can I use the ResMed AirCurve 11 ASV on an airplane?

The ResMed AirSense 11 is FAA-compliant for in-flight use. That said, some airlines require a doctor’s letter for passengers who wish to do so. The device automatically adjusts pressure to compensate for altitudes up to 9,870 feet.

How often do I need to replace parts?

We recommend the following replacement schedule: 

  • Humidifier water chamber: every 6 months
  • ClimateLineAir connective tubing: every 3 months
  • Filter: every 30 days

    Finally

    I’ve been dealing with OSA/Central sleep apnea for 10 years. Could not tolerate CPAP. Bought this Resmed 11 and have gone from 150 events per night to less than one per hour. Sleeping 8 hours a night and haven’t done that since my 20’s. Highly recommend!

    The ASV is saving my life in real time!

    I took my sleep study in April and received my machine in May 2025. Do not let the price deter you from the help you need!! This machine is worth every penny to me and has completely changed how I sleep at night. Day 1 was the best sleep I have had in 15 years. Everyone will have a different reaction to their CPAPs but the fact I was able to get a test and machine sent to me within a few days vs months waiting at the doctors was incredible. This machine is easy to use and integrates well with the app. This was the right prescription for me and I will never sleep a night without it.

    Okay

    Description. okay but difficulties with air. Also, my machine's status screen doesn't show my nites sleeping results. I'm forced to go to "My Air" to see how I did the night before! Screen needs fixing or adjustment!
