Daily

  1. Remove the cushion from the frame and detach the headgear.
  2. Gently hand-wash the cushion and frame in warm water with mild, fragrance-free soap.
  3. Rinse thoroughly, making sure all soap is removed to avoid skin irritation.
  4. Lay parts flat on a clean towel, away from direct sunlight.

Weekly

  1. Inspect for wear and tear, especially on the cushion and headgear, and replace any worn parts.
  2. Wash the headgear and all mask components in warm, soapy water.
  3. Rinse, ensuring no soap residue remains.
  4. Rinse all components thoroughly under clean water.
  5. Allow every part to air dry completely before reassembling.

How It Works

The DreamWear Full Face Mask delivers pressurized air through soft silicone tubing that runs along the sides of the face and connects at the top of the head, keeping the hose out of the way. The under-the-nose cushion seals around both the mouth and nose, reducing pressure on the nasal bridge while maintaining a secure fit. As you breathe, the mask channels CPAP or BiPAP therapy directly into your airway to keep it open.

How to Use It

  1. Ensure the frame, cushion, and headgear are connected properly and check for any wear or damage.
  2. Position the under-the-nose cushion so it gently seals around both your nose and mouth.
  3. Adjust the back straps until the mask feels snug but not overly tight, maintaining comfort and a good seal.
  4. Connect your CPAP or BiPAP tubing to the swivel elbow at the top of the mask frame.
  5. Power on your CPAP or BiPAP machine and check for air leaks. Adjust the cushion or headgear if needed.
  6. Once comfortable, lie down in your preferred position and breathe normally.

Full face masks direct pressurized air into both your mouth and nose. While most full face masks start at the bridge of your nose and cover to below your lower lip, some — including the DreamWear full face mask — seal below your nostrils instead.

Are the DreamWear Full Face Mask’s cushions replaceable?

The DreamWear full face cushions are replaceable and have an estimated lifespan of about one month. The DreamWear frame system can also be used with DreamWear nasal pillows and nasal cushions.

How do I know which size to choose for the DreamWear Full Face Mask?

The DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask cushions are available in small, medium, medium wide, and large sizes. If you find it difficult to decide on a size, you might want to consult the Philips Respironics sizing guide. Additionally, the mask comes with a medium size frame, though small and large sizes can be purchased separately.

Which CPAP machines can I use with the DreamWear Full Face Mask?

CPAP masks, including the DreamWear, can be used with PAP machines that use a standard 22-millimeter tubing connection. The only PAP machines that use other connections are some travel CPAP machines, such as the ResMed AirMini, which require the use of specific masks.

    Phillips mask don’t fit well

    The mask is a odd fit for me, it may work for some it also maybe that I’m not doing something right also but I keep breaking the seal between my nose and the mask opening

    I wanted to like it!!

    I can't seem to keep the seal on this mask even if I'm not moving. It's likely my own facial features, rather round face. If I keep the seal, it's so tight that I can't sleep and if I have it any looser, it leaks. I've tried various strap positions without success. Very poor scores on my ResMed app. I do like that it limits how much my face is covered which is what I was looking for, but it doesn't help with the seal, sadly.
