Our clinical care team is made up of licensed respiratory therapists, sleep technologists, and other experienced professionals who work directly with patients to diagnose sleep disorders, guide treatment, and support long-term health.

Dr. Michael J. Breus

Our founder, Michael J. Breus, PhD, D,ABSM, is a double board-certified clinical psychologist and sleep medicine specialist with more than 25 years of experience helping people around the world get better rest. One of only a small number of professionals to earn both Diplomate and Fellow status from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine without attending medical school, Dr. Breus has been recognized by Reader’s Digest as the Top Sleep Specialist in California and one of the 10 most influential people in sleep.

He’s also the author of five books, including his newest, Sleep, Drink, Breathe: Wellness Is Too Complicated (2025), which offers a practical three-week roadmap to better health through everyday habits. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Breus has partnered with leading brands such as Hästens, Purple, Oura, Six Senses, and Princess Cruises, sharing his philosophy that better sleep makes a better life.

Dr. Meena Mehta

Meena Mehta, MD, FCCP, is a board-certified pulmonary, sleep medicine, and obesity medicine specialist with more than two decades of experience treating sleep disorders and metabolic health conditions. She serves as a medical advisor for SleepDoctor.com, where she oversees the clinical care team and guides their work with patients to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Licensed in all 50 states, Dr. Mehta is also a leader in telemedicine, providing virtual care that integrates personalized treatment plans, weight management, and sleep apnea therapy to improve patient outcomes.

    Diane is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Registered Sleep Disorders Specialist with 28 years’ experience. For the past 23 years, she’s focused on sleep medicine. She’s dedicated to helping people get the treatment they need to breathe easier and sleep more soundly by educating patients on their diagnosis and guiding them through their treatment options. When she’s not working, she spends time with her family, goes to the beach, and enjoys all things Disney.

Rebekah also has training in Reiki and a passion for music as a healing modality. Outside of work, she enjoys creating her own music for sound baths with drums, piano, and bass.

Carrie has a heart for helping patients breathe easier and sleep better by providing personalized CPAP education, mask fitting, and ongoing therapy support. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with her family at the beach, traveling, and singing at her local church.
