Care

After each use, rinse the appliance with lukewarm water and gently brush it with a soft toothbrush. Avoid using toothpaste, as it can be too abrasive. You can also use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser or specialized dental appliance cleaner for a deeper clean. Allow the appliance to air dry completely before storing it in the provided case. Avoid exposing it to high heat or direct sunlight.

A full refund (excluding return shipping) is available for unopened items and unused impression kits within 60 days of purchase.

In people with OSA, the airway repeatedly collapses or becomes blocked during sleep. The American Sleep Dentistry Oral Appliance gently repositions the lower jaw forward, which helps keep the airway open and reduces snoring and breathing interruptions. The device rests between your upper and lower teeth—without bulky straps or parts—and is designed to allow natural vertical and horizontal jaw movement.

How to Use It

  1. Start with a virtual appointment with a member of our clinical care team to determine if the oral appliance is right for you.
  2. Use the molding kit mailed to you to take an impression of your teeth with the help of a licensed, ASD-certified dentist via telehealth.
  3. Once your impressions are processed, you’ll receive a custom-fitted oral appliance.
  4. Place the appliance in your mouth before bed. 
  5. Each morning, brush the appliance while you brush your teeth. Store it in the provided case when not in use.
