The Fisher & Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask is a full face CPAP mask that has been designed to keep a secure seal even when you move. This fit pack comes with every cushion size — small, medium, and large — to simplify the sizing process.

Care

Following these cleaning steps from the manufacturer will help keep your mask in good condition: 

  1. Remove the cushion and unhook the headgear from the mask frame. The swivel should be removed from the elbow without removing the ball-and-socket elbow from the frame. 
  2. Fisher & Paykel suggest cleaning the frame, swivel, and cushion every day. The headgear can be cleaned once a week. 
  3. Mask components should be washed in warm, soapy water and then rinsed with clean water. You should not leave any part to soak for more than ten minutes. 
  4. It is best to air-dry your mask’s components out of direct sunlight.

Are the Fisher & Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask’s cushions replaceable?

Fisher & Paykel recommends replacing the Simplus mask’s cushions every 6 to 12 months. They should also be replaced whenever they start to show damage or wear, which can appear as discoloration, tearing, and cracking of the silicone.

How do I know which size to choose for the Fisher & Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask?

Since the Simplus Fit Pack comes with small, medium, and large cushions, you can just try each and choose the one that offers the best fit. Although the fit pack is only available with medium/large headgear, the headgear is also available for purchase in a smaller size. 

Which CPAP machines can I use with the Fisher & Paykel Simplus Full Face Mask?

The Simplus can be used with CPAP, BiPAP, and APAP machines that have a standard 22-millimeter hose connector. Most PAP machines use this connector, but some travel CPAP machines like the ResMed AirMini require proprietary hoses that cannot be used with the Simplus.

    Full Face CPAP Mask

    The product is all made with quality materials and are well made. I have a short beard and this did not work well for me. It came with three different size masks but I could not find the ideal size. Probably because I had to tighten the mask too much to get a fair seal it ended up leaving a mark on my nose. I ended up changing to a ResMed AirTouch N30i mask which I find much more comfortable for me.

    Loud and Leaky

    This mask has a swivel joint where the air hose connects. It is not sealed and constantly leaks air making the mask very loud to sleep with. My sleep machine reports a poor mask fit whenever I use it. It might be good if there were a seal of some sort in the joint, but mine is just a loose fit.

    Excellent Mask!

    I purchased this mask after struggling with the F30i. This mask is easy-to-use and comfortable. Sometimes small bits of air will leak from the cushioning on the mask, but it's easy enough to make adjustments for maximum comfort. Awesome mask!

    Fit Pack is a Game Changer!

    Thanks to the fit pack I was able to accurately get a great fit and leave the incorrectly fitted ResMed mask. I'm not a fan of the 2 straps when I start to wear it. So many confusing straps.
