Product Details

The ResMed AirTouch F20 full-face CPAP mask features a premium UltraSoft memory foam cushion, which provides a gentle, custom-fit seal across a range of pressure levels. But if your preferences change, the modular frame lets you easily swap between the UltraSoft cushion and ResMed’s InfinitySeal silicone cushion. 

Additionally, QuietAir venting diffuses exhaled air to whisper levels (~21 dB), while magnetic headgear clips and a quick-release elbow make mask removal and reconnection effortless.

Important Update: In December 2023, the FDA issued a recall of this product to alert customers that the magnetic clips may interfere with the performance of certain metallic medical devices. Patients should not use this mask if they or someone close by has any of these devices implanted in their body.

Care

Note: The AirTouch F20 features a memory foam cushion, which should not be submerged in water or cleaned with soap.

Daily

  1. Remove the memory foam cushion from the mask frame.
  2. Wipe the memory foam cushion with an alcohol-, fragrance-free CPAP wipe.
  3. Inspect the cushion for wear or residue.
  4. Clean the mask frame and elbow with warm, soapy water. Use a mild, fragrance-free soap and rinse thoroughly.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry completely out of direct sunlight.

Weekly

  1. Disassemble the entire mask.
  2. Hand wash the frame, elbow, and headgear in warm water with mild soap. Do not wash the memory foam cushion.
  3. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
  4. Squeeze out excess water from the headgear without wringing or twisting.
  5. Lay all components flat on a clean surface to air dry.

How It Works

The AirTouch F20 delivers consistent, pressurized air through both the nose and mouth to keep the airway open during sleep. It features an ultra-soft memory foam cushion that molds to the contours of your face, creating a secure and comfortable seal without the need for overtightening. 

The mask connects to your CPAP machine via flexible tubing and uses a quick-release elbow for easy disconnection during the night. Its design minimizes pressure points and reduces skin irritation, while the open-field frame and plush headgear keep the mask stable throughout the night.

How to Use It

  1. Attach the quick-release elbow to the front of the mask, then connect it securely to your CPAP hose.
  2. Position the mask over your nose and mouth.
  3. Slide the headgear over the back of your head like you would a cap.
  4. Use the magnetic clips on the headgear to tighten or loosen as needed.
  5. Start your CPAP machine and check for any air leaks. Adjust the mask or straps if needed.
  6. If you need to get up during the night, disconnect the elbow instead of removing the entire mask.

    Been wearing this mask for at least 5 years only mask I have worn without a cloth liner over it ( I don't like the silicone on my face) the only drawback is having to order new memory foam liners every month insurance covers most but still a bit pricey

    Doesn’t fit properly

    I ordered the large mask due to my bigger head and it dug into my forehead. So I ordered the medium mask thinking that would fit batter and it’s to small.

    Feels good, I love the air exhaust, is less noisy than my other mask that I was using.

    Little drawback is my -uhmmm- drooling 🤤 and the sponge that surrounds the mask.

    Not great with beards

    The mask leaks if you have a beard and the headgear isn’t very good. It’s loose at the top and lets the mask come up.

    Finally, a mask that fits a larger frame!

    As a bigger guy, I’ve always struggled to find a full-face mask that doesn't feel restrictive or leak constantly. This ResMed mask is a game-changer. The fit is excellent and it’s much more comfortable than other brands I’ve tried. If you’ve had trouble with masks being too small or shifting during the night, give this one a shot.
