The ResMed AirFit F20 is a full-face CPAP mask designed with a proprietary InfinitySeal silicone cushion that adapts to movement and helps minimize leaks, even at higher pressures. The mask also features quiet venting, magnetic headgear clips for easy removal, and a quick-release elbow for added convenience.

With a lightweight frame and soft headgear, the AirFit F20 supports comfortable sleep in multiple positions and is compatible with most CPAP machines. Plus, both the standard and “For Her” AirFit F20 are available in small, medium, and large cushion sizes.

Important Update: In December 2023, the FDA issued a recall of this product to alert customers that the magnetic clips may interfere with the performance of certain metallic medical devices. Patients should not use this mask if they or someone close by has any of these devices implanted in their body.

Care

Daily

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Rinse the frame, cushion, and elbow under running water.
  3. Soak parts in warm water with mild liquid detergent for up to 10 minutes.
  4. Gently brush any moving parts, vent holes, and connection points.
  5. Rinse thoroughly and shake off excess water.
  6. Air dry all components out of direct sunlight. Squeeze the frame arms to remove trapped water.

Weekly

  1. Detach the headgear from the mask (magnets can stay on the headgear).
  2. Handwash the headgear in warm, soapy water.
  3. Rinse well and inspect for leftover detergent. Repeat if needed.
  4. Squeeze out excess water and let air dry away from sunlight.

How It Works

The ResMed AirFit F20 delivers pressurized air from your CPAP machine to both your nose and mouth, helping keep your airway open throughout the night. Its InfinitySeal cushion adapts to facial movements and maintains a consistent seal, even at higher pressure settings. 

As you exhale, the QuietAir vent system gently diffuses air to minimize noise and airflow disturbance. Magnetic clips and a quick-release elbow make it easy to put on, take off, or disconnect from tubing without removing the mask entirely.

How to Use It

  1. Assemble the mask, making sure all parts are securely connected.
  2. Put on the mask by unclipping the headgear clips and placing the mask over your nose and mouth. Reattach the clips and gently tighten or loosen the straps.
  3. Attach the CPAP tubing to the mask elbow.
  4. Turn on your CPAP machine. Breathe normally and check for leaks around the cushion.

How do I disassemble the ResMed AirFit F20 mask?

    Actually comfortable and easy

    I will be the first person to complain when things don’t feel or fit me right. This mask out of the box was a simple set up, and that made me nervous that I did something wrong. But I didn’t, the instructions were clear and simple to follow. The full face fit was perfect! No leaks and not huge like I thought it would be. I bought this mask for those unfortunate occasions when I get sinus infections or allergies and I can’t help but be a mouth breather. I first tried it out and thought wow, this is surprisingly comfortable and not so cumbersome that getting snuggled into a pillow was easy. If you don’t have one, I suggest purchasing one. Whether or not if it’s your everyday mask or in my case your go to mask when you get a cold.

    Surprisingly comfortable

    Purchased this in anticipation of needing a backup in case my original mask breaks, and I really like the softness of the seal. I get a good seal even though the mask near my face is flexible, and I have no issues with air flow.
