ResMed’s AirFit N30i Starter Pack is a nasal mask with a low-profile design, allowing you to wear glasses or watch TV without any obstructions. Nasal cushions sit under your nose instead of over the nose, and hoses connect at the top of your head. A quick-release elbow makes it easy to disconnect your mask from hosing when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. The starter pack includes multiple cushion sizes for sleepers who are unsure of the correct size. You may choose between two frame sizes — standard or small.

Care

ResMed’s instructions for cleaning the AirFit N30i are as follows: 

  1. The cushion should be cleaned daily while the headgear, sleeve, frame, and elbow need weekly cleaning
  2. Components should be soaked in warm, soapy water before being cleaned with a soft-bristled brush
  3. Check that there are no air bubbles in the mask while soaking
  4. All components should be rinsed with clean water 
  5. Squeeze the frame sleeves with a clean towel and shake the vent to remove water
  6. Let the components dry out of direct sunlight

Are the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask’s cushions replaceable?

The ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask uses replaceable cushions that have an expected lifespan of around six months. Worn cushions may have to be replaced sooner if they begin to leak or become damaged. 

How do I know which size to choose for the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?

You can use ResMed’s AirFit N30i size template to help you choose among the small, small wide, and medium cushions included in this starter pack.  The frame is available in standard and small sizes.

Which CPAP machines can I use with the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?

Most CPAP masks, including the AirFit N30i, can be used with the vast majority of PAP machines because they use a standard 22-millimeter hose connection. The AirFit N30i is not compatible with CPAP machines that use a specialty connection, such as the ResMed AirMini.

    Amazing technology, very comfortable

    This is an amazing technological setup that must have been the result of many many series of customer feedback and improvements. Even the first night I was sleeping well with it. You really barely notice anything except of course the nose piece which in itself is still very comfortable.

    Very comfortable

    This is a very comfortable and soft mask. It was my first mask as a new CPAP user. Since then I have tried a full face mask and have also ordered the micro nasal mask. My main problem (not a fault of the mask) is mouth breathing and when I turn on my side the nose piece moves a bit. But overall it is comfortable and the top of the head hose attachment is good for side sleepers.
