FAQ

Can I use my FSA/HSA dollars for sleep coaching?

Yes. Our Sleep Coaching program is eligible for FSA and HSA reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). No separate doctor’s visit or reimbursement paperwork are required after the fact.

During checkout, eligibility will be determined in real time via chat-based consultation. If approved, your Letter of Medical Necessity is issued as part of your purchase, and you can use your FSA or HSA card directly at checkout.

How long does it take to see improvement?

Most people begin noticing changes within the first few weeks when they consistently apply their plan. Because this is structured and personalized, progress is measurable. We track your sleep diary, adjust strategies, and refine your plan as you go.

What if coaching doesn’t work?

If your symptoms suggest a diagnosable sleep disorder or if improvement stalls, we escalate appropriately. That may include ordering a Home Sleep Test, recommending lab work, or referring for medical evaluation. Sleep coaching is part of a continuum of care, not a dead end.

Is sleep coaching a replacement for a sleep study?

No. Sleep coaching is not a diagnostic test.

If your symptoms suggest sleep apnea or another medical disorder, we may recommend a Home Sleep Study as part of your plan. Coaching focuses on identifying behavioral, circadian, and lifestyle contributors and helping you improve them. Testing provides data. Coaching helps you act on it.

I was told my Home Sleep Study results were “mild.” Is coaching a good option for me?

Yes—especially if you still feel tired.

Many people with mild OSA or a negative result continue to struggle with sleep quality, insomnia, or daytime fatigue. Sleep coaching is designed for that gray area where symptoms persist but CPAP isn’t clearly indicated or isn’t your preferred first step.

What’s the difference between sleep coaching and CPAP therapy?

CPAP treats obstructive sleep apnea by keeping the airway open. Sleep coaching addresses other contributors to poor sleep, including circadian misalignment, stress, habits, environment, and mild sleep-disordered breathing patterns. If medical treatment is needed, we guide you toward it. If behavioral intervention is appropriate, we build a structured plan.

    Amazing!

I signed up for sleep coaching because I had been waking up in the middle of the night and having trouble getting back to sleep. I have sleep apnea and have been on CPAP for many years now, but was still having troubles. Rachael worked with me to understand my concerns and was able to isolate the fact that the settings were wrong on my CPAP and that I was actually waking up because of that! Between other strategies that she shared and changing the settings on my CPAP machine, I'm back to sleeping great! Really thankful for this program and it was worth every penny!
