The ResMed AirFit P30i is a nasal pillow mask designed to give you more freedom in how you sleep. With its swiveling, top-of-head hose connection and dual-wall silicone nasal pillows, it keeps tubing out of your way and helps maintain a good seal even as you change positions. The mesh QuietAir vent reduces the noise level to just 21 decibels, while lightweight SpringFit frame ensures a comfortable, secure fit, and the quick-release elbow makes nightly bathroom breaks easy.

Care

Daily

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Gently wash the cushion and frame in warm water with mild soap (no harsh detergents).
  3. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all soap residue.
  4. Allow the parts to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.

Weekly

  1. Disassemble the full mask, including the headgear.
  2. Inspect for wear and tear, especially on the cushion and headgear, and replace any worn parts.
  3. Soak all parts in warm, soapy water for about five to 10 minutes.
  4. Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) to gently scrub the vent and any crevices in the mask frame.
  5. Rinse all components thoroughly under clean water.
  6. Lay everything flat to dry completely before reassembling.

How It Works

The ResMed AirFit P30i delivers pressurized air from your CPAP machine directly into your nostrils through soft silicone nasal pillows. Its top-of-head tubing connection routes the hose away from your face, giving you more freedom to move and sleep in any position without getting tangled. A flexible frame channels airflow evenly to both sides of the mask, while the secure nasal pillows create a comfortable, stable seal.

How to Use It

  1. Connect the CPAP tubing from your machine to the top-of-head swivel connector on the mask.
  2. Gently place the soft silicone pillows into your nostrils. Position the frame over your head and tighten or loosen the straps until the mask feels secure.
  3. Turn on your CPAP machine, then adjust the mask or pillows if you feel air leaks around your nose.
  4. Lie down in your preferred sleep position and breathe normally through your nose.
  5. Each morning, disconnect and clean the mask components.

Nasal pillow CPAP masks inflate inside the user’s nostrils to create a strong seal, as opposed to nasal cushion masks that seal against the user’s skin. The AirFit P30i can be used with the included nasal pillows or AirFit N30i nasal cushions.

Are the ResMed AirFit P30i’s pillows replaceable?

The AirFit P30i’s silicone nasal pillows are replaceable and should be switched out for a new set every six months or so. They may need to be replaced sooner if they become damaged or begin to leak.

How do I know which size to choose for the ResMed AirFit P30i?

The standard frame size fits most men and many women, while the small size is a better choice for men and women with a smaller head circumference. Both models come with multiple pillow sizes and feature a SpringFit frame that adapts to your facial shape.

Which CPAP machines can I use with the ResMed AirFit P30i?

The AirFit P30i can be used with any CPAP, BiPAP, or APAP machine that uses a standard 22-millimeter hose connection. Although manufactured by ResMed, this mask is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini or any other CPAP machine that uses specialty tubing.

    Comfy and compact.

    Trust me when I say this. You want to be a unicorn not an elephant. What does that mean? You want your house to be over your head. It doesn’t get in the way while you roll around and this mask is super soft. Once you realize you have it on and give it a minute to realize you can still see your phone or whatever and it’s low profile… you’ll be sawing silent logs! And wake up like your a kid again ready to take over the world.

    You have to get it right

    This mask is comfortable at times but if you move, it may also move. I have to attempt to stay still. If you get it right, you’ll have a great night’s sleep.
