The ResMed AirFit N30i has a low-profile and minimally invasive design that prevents movement restriction and obstructed vision. Under-the-nose cushioning prevents marks and irritation on the nose bridge, which some CPAP users experience with traditional full-face masks. Top-of-head tubing also allows sleepers to use any position and switch between them easily.

Care

ResMed’s instructions for cleaning the AirFit N30i are as follows: 

  1. The cushion should be cleaned daily while the headgear, sleeve, frame, and elbow need weekly cleaning
  2. Components should be soaked in warm, soapy water before being cleaned with a soft-bristled brush
  3. Check that there are no air bubbles in the mask while soaking
  4. All components should be rinsed with clean water 
  5. Squeeze the frame sleeves with a clean towel and shake the vent to remove water
  6. Let the components dry out of direct sunlight

Are the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask’s cushions replaceable?

The ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask uses replaceable cushions that have an expected lifespan of around six months. Worn cushions may have to be replaced sooner if they begin to leak or become damaged. 

How do I know which size to choose for the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?

You can use ResMed’s AirFit N30i size template to help you choose among the small, small wide, and medium cushions included in this starter pack.  The frame is available in standard and small sizes.

Which CPAP machines can I use with the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask?

Most CPAP masks, including the AirFit N30i, can be used with the vast majority of PAP machines because they use a standard 22-millimeter hose connection. The AirFit N30i is not compatible with CPAP machines that use a specialty connection, such as the ResMed AirMini.

    Comfortable headgear

    Comfortable headgear, goes on the n30i just fine. Adjustable strap. Magnets may be a little weak for people who move a lot in their sleep.

    Comfortable Mask For Nasal Pillow

    Comfortable mask with some adjustments possible. Best for back sleepers, okay for side sleeping. There is some air leakage out of the top of the frame, but doesn't seem to be a big issue. Doesn't cause any kind of issue with the CPAP and I sleep well.
