The ResMed AirFit P30i is a nasal pillow CPAP mask designed to provide freedom and movement and a clear field of vision. The standard model of this mask includes small, medium, and large pillows, while the smaller size includes small and medium pillows.

  • Swiveling hose connector is placed at the top of your head so that you can move and change positions without pulling at your mask or tangling your hose

  • Mesh QuietAir vent reduces the noise level to just 21 decibels, which is unlikely to disturb even the lightest sleepers

  • Proprietary SpringFit frame and adjustable headgear ensures a comfortable, secure fit

You can keep your ResMed AirFit P30i in good condition by following these steps: 

  1. The nasal pillows need to be cleaned after every use, but all other components can be cleaned weekly
  2. Soak the components in warm, soapy water and make sure that there are no air bubbles left inside the frame
  3. Clean the components using a soft-bristled brush, paying particular attention to the vent
  4. Rinse the components in clean water, shake the vent to remove excess water, and leave to dry out of direct sunlight

What is a nasal pillow CPAP Mask?

Nasal pillow CPAP masks inflate inside the user’s nostrils to create a strong seal, as opposed to nasal cushion masks that seal against the user’s skin. The AirFit P30i can be used with the included nasal pillows or AirFit N30i nasal cushions. 

Who should use the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

Nasal pillow masks are popular among stomach and side sleepers for their low profile, and the AirFit P30i reduces bulk even further by moving the hose connection to the top of the user’s head. The AirFit P30i is also exceptionally quiet, making it a good choice for light sleepers. 

Who shouldn’t use the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

People who breathe through their mouth while asleep should not use nasal pillow masks like the AirFit P30i. Nasal pillow masks can also be uncomfortable for people who use a high air pressure level. 

Are the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask’s pillows replaceable?

The AirFit P30i’s silicone nasal pillows are replaceable and should be switched out for a new set every six months or so. They may need to be replaced sooner if they become damaged or begin to leak. 

How do I know which size to choose for the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

The standard frame size fits most men and many women, while the small size is a better choice for men and women with a smaller head circumference. Both models come with multiple pillow sizes and feature a SpringFit frame that adapts to your facial shape. 

Which CPAP machines can I use with the ResMed AirFit P30i Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?

The AirFit P30i can be used with any CPAP, BiPAP, or APAP machine that uses a standard 22-millimeter hose connection. Although manufactured by ResMed, this mask is not compatible with the ResMed AirMini or any other CPAP machine that uses specialty tubing.

    Made a huge difference for this newbie

    I was really struggling with the full face (hybrid) mask, which was my first mask since starting PAP therapy a few weeks ago. Then I tried the P30i. So glad I did! Night and day difference from the other mask. I’m only 3 weeks in, so still a work in progress, but this mask is really helping me on the road to getting much better sleep!
