Daily

Disassemble the mask.
Gently wash the cushion and frame in warm water with mild soap (no harsh detergents).
Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all soap residue.
Allow the parts to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.

Weekly

Disassemble the full mask, including the headgear.
Inspect for wear and tear, especially on the cushion and headgear, and replace any worn parts.
Soak all parts in warm, soapy water for about five to 10 minutes.
Use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) to gently scrub the vent and any crevices in the mask frame.
Rinse all components thoroughly under clean water.
Lay everything flat to dry completely before reassembling.

How It Works

The AirFit N30 delivers consistent, pressurized airflow from your CPAP machine directly into your nostrils to keep your airway open throughout the night. Its curved, under-the-nose cushion sits gently beneath the nostrils, creating a soft but secure seal without covering the entire nose. The QuickFit elastic headgear provides stability with minimal contact, while the QuietAir venting system gently disperses exhaled air to reduce noise and disruptions.

How to Use It

Connect the mask tubing to your CPAP machine’s hose.
Slide the headgear over your head and position the nasal cradle under your nostrils. Adjust the headgear strap using the single clip to create a snug but comfortable fit.
Turn on your CPAP machine and check for air leaks around the cushion. Re-adjust the mask or headgear if necessary.
Lie down and breathe normally through your nose.
After use, disconnect and clean the mask components.

Can I use the AirFit N30 with any CPAP machine?

Yes, the AirFit N30 is compatible with most CPAP machines. It connects easily using standard CPAP tubing with a 22mm connector, which is the industry standard. No special adapters are required

How do I know which cushion size I need?

The AirFit N30 is available in multiple cushion sizes—small, medium, and small-wide. ResMed also offers a sizing guide that you can print and use. If you’re unsure which one is right for you, you can buy a mask starter pack, which includes all three sizes so you can try them at home and select the best fit.

How often should I replace the cushion and headgear?

For best hygiene and performance, cushions should be replaced every two to four weeks, and headgear should be replaced every six months, or sooner if it becomes stretched or loses elasticity. Regular replacement helps maintain a proper seal and ensures comfort.

Is this mask suitable for people with facial hair?

The AirFit N30 can work for some people with facial hair, especially those with minimal or neatly trimmed facial hair. However, a proper seal may be harder to maintain with mustaches or full, thick beards. If you experience air leaks, you may want to consider a mask specifically designed to accommodate facial hair.
