Side Sleepers
Most side sleepers on our testing team preferred the medium soft side, noting that it cushions the shoulders and hips to help align the spine. Those under 230 pounds were more comfortable on the softer side, while those over 230 pounds preferred the firmer side. If you are a full-time side sleeper, consider other mattresses for side sleepers.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers over 130 pounds rated the firm side of the Layla Memory Foam Mattress as very good to excellent. Generally, a back sleeper needs a firmer bed to keep their hips from sinking too far and misaligning their spine.
Stomach Sleepers
Most stomach sleepers on our team found better support on the firm side, regardless of their body weight. Our stomach sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds were especially impressed, giving it the highest grade available. What Is the Layla Mattress Made Of?
