Endy Mattress: An Introduction
Endy is a mattress company that manufactures and sells mattresses exclusively in Canada. The company currently offers two mattresses, the Endy Mattress and the Endy Hybrid. The brand also sells other products including bed frames, pillows, bedding, and decor.
The flagship Endy Mattress is the brand’s all-foam model. It includes three layers of polyfoam and a removable cover. The Endy Hybrid is made with both polyfoam and pocketed coils for a more responsive feel.
We’ll explore some key features about the Endy Mattress, including specifications, construction, and price. We’ll also provide our testing team’s findings across several performance categories.
How We Review
Each mattress we review undergoes extensive testing by our in-house team. Our testers employ a rigorous testing methodology to understand each bed and provide accurate assessments. We report the results of this testing to help you choose the best mattress.
What’s It Like to Sleep on the Endy Mattress?
The Endy Mattress offers a stable sleep surface that balances pressure relief and sturdy support. The top layer of open-cell polyfoam absorbs motion well, making the bed an ideal choice for co-sleepers who wake each other up with movements at night. The open-cell structure of the foam helps reduce heat retention.
Our testing showed that this mattress feels comfortable for a wide variety of sleepers. In particular, it performed best for those under 130 pounds regardless of sleep position. It’s also well suited for side and back sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds.
We’ll cover the bed’s pros and cons and provide the results of our extensive mattress testing.
Endy Mattress Pros and Cons
Pros
- Polyfoam layers promote motion isolation
- Balance of pressure relief and responsiveness
- Ideal for side sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds
Cons
- Not firm enough for sleepers over 230 pounds
- All-foam construction may sag along the edges
- Foam may retain too much heat for some hot sleepers
Sleeping Positions, Body Weight, and Firmness
Because your body weight and sleep position help determine which mattress firmness suits you best, our testing team includes people with various body sizes and sleep positions. This helps ensure that we’re providing you with the most accurate and balanced ratings.
Our testers rated the Endy Mattress as medium firm, which is a 6 on our 10-point firmness scale. This means the mattress is on the firmer side but still offers plenty of plushness.
Our testing revealed that the Endy Mattress works best for sleepers under 130 pounds and side and back sleepers up to 230 pounds. Our team found it too soft for sleepers over 230 pounds, a group that generally requires a firmer bed for proper support.
Endy Mattress Sleeper Ratings
Side Sleepers
Though the Endy Mattress worked well for side sleepers under 230 pounds on our team, those between 130 and 230 pounds found the best combination of support and cushioning. Side sleepers need a mattress that allows the shoulders and hips to sink slightly while keeping the spine aligned. This bed’s polyfoam comfort system offers just enough sink to relieve pressure points.
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers usually require a mattress that gently conforms to the spine while supporting the lumbar region to ensure proper spinal alignment. Back-sleeping testers under 230 pounds felt adequately supported by the Endy Mattress, while those over 230 pounds reported that their midsection sank too deeply.
Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers need a supportive mattress that keeps the spine in alignment by preventing the midsection from sinking excessively. Most of our stomach-sleeping testers preferred a firmer bed, though testers under 130 pounds found sufficient support from the Endy Mattress.
Our Performance Ratings
What Is the Endy Mattress Made Of?
The Endy Mattress features a polyester and spandex cover that is removable and machine-washable. The bed contains three polyfoam layers of varying densities that provide an even mix of cushioning and support.
The comfort system includes an initial layer of open-cell polyfoam, which gives the bed’s surface a plush feel. The next layer is comprised of a firmer high-density polyfoam, which helps give the bed its overall medium firm feel.
The support core contains 5 inches of high-density polyfoam. This sturdy foundation facilitates healthy spinal alignment by preventing the comfort foams from sagging too deeply.
All foams used in the Endy Mattress carry GREENGUARD Gold and CertiPUR-US certifications, indicating that the mattress has met strict standards for the presence of harmful chemicals.

Which Endy Mattress Is Right for You?
In addition to the Endy Mattress, the brand also offers the Endy Hybrid. Both mattresses have a medium firm (6) feel. While the Endy Mattress is made of polyfoam, the Endy Hybrid combines polyfoam and pocketed coils for a more buoyant and responsive feel.
Our testing team found that the Endy Mattress outperformed the Endy Hybrid in both pressure relief and motion isolation. However, the Endy Hybrid performed better for back sleepers between 130 and 230 pounds. The hybrid is also priced higher than the flagship model.

Endy Mattress FAQ
The Endy Mattress is not made of memory foam. Instead, it is made with proprietary polyfoam, which has a slightly firmer feel. The top polyfoam layer is open-cell with a fairly plush feel, while the other two polyfoam layers are denser and firmer. All foams in the Endy Mattress are certified by GREENGUARD Gold and CertiPUR-US.
You can sleep on the Endy Mattress directly after unboxing. It will take one week for the mattress to fully expand.
Over time, all foam mattresses will soften and retain some body indentations. This can lead to sagging. Endy’s mattress warranty covers indentations over 1 inch that occur during the 10- or 15-year warranty period.
The Endy Mattress is well suited for couples. Our testing team found that the bed isolates motion well, making sleepers less likely to feel their partner’s movements throughout the night.
The Endy Mattress can be placed on a traditional box spring, adjustable bed frame, or slatted bed frame. It should not be placed directly on the floor or used on a slatted frame with gaps larger than 3 inches.
